Racing
Racing takes place on an oval track: up to six dogs start from boxes and chase the lure to the finish line.
Track and distances
The track is an oval with a sand or grass surface. The distance depends on the breed and category, for example 280, 350 or 480 metres.
Categories
Dogs race in two categories: sprinter and standard. The breed and the size of the dog decide the category.
Equipment
All dogs race in a muzzle and a racing blanket. The colour of the blanket shows the box number.
Heats and finals
The day starts with heats, and their times decide who runs in which final (example, check the current rules).
